“Ten Years That Shook the City” 90-minute Walking Tour of Mission District History
Following the audio tour created in conjunction with the “Ten Years That Shook the City: San Francisco 1968-78” book, we’ll start in front of La Boheme Cafe across from the 24th Street BART station, on 24th and Orange Alley, and go from there around the neighborhood, stopping seven times over a couple of hours to hear authors reading excerpts from articles describing events that took place in that decade in locations that are now much different.
