Presenting as part of a two-month show at Pro Arts Gallery on Frank Ogawa Plaza in downtown Oakland, this will be a survey of past projects dating to the 1970s, with a critical discussion of cul-de-sacs that radicals inspired by the Situationists have often run into. Now more than ever a discourse grounded in sincerity has to be reclaimed from the easy alienation and slouching self-importance of the ironic stance.
